Celebrating the BIG things {21}

CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop    #CTC180

Every Sunday at 7pm (AEST), there is a new challenge where a group of talented Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators CASE a section of the current Stampin’ Up! catalogues.

This week they are casing their Favourite Retiring projects from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue or the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue.

This week I have been inspired by this crew to create my own CASE project in honour of my son who magically grew up in the wink of an eye {Despite my repeatedly reading him Peter Pan!!}

I could not feel more honoured to be his Mum. As he turns 21, I reflect on the many hurdles he has faced and challenges he has conquered. What a fine young man, with a full and generous heart. He has and will make a huge impact on all who have the fortune of meeting him.

Here is my CASE:

My cake is slightly wonky but I am happy none-the-less. The patterned icing is stamped using the Hello Friend stamp set and the numbers cut from a Silver Foil Sheet. These and the Whisper White Cardstock and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Ink Pad are the only products that you will find in the new 2018-19 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.

Prepare to say farewell to the Large Number Framelits, Soft Sky Cardstock and Classic Stampin’ Ink Pads {New fabulous colours are coming so don’t dismay!} Also retiring is the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies and the Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.

The projects from the Catalogue that inspired me included the numbers on bags featured on p179 & the decorated paper cake was inspired by the decorated jar on p89 and layered cake featured on p78.
