Childhood Flashback!
As a child, I loved the dress up paper dolls that changed clothes with the fold of a paper tab, sewing for my Barbies from the scrap material pile and sketching pretty outfits from the comics and magazines. Hmm.. no wonderI had so much fun with this project.
The vintage look of the girls and their dresses lent itself to paper piecing very well. Simply stamp the image on Designer Series Paper and fussy cut to create the outfits. It would be just as easy to stamp on plain paper stock and hand colour the dresses. The tops, skirts and aprons could even be created as seperate pieces. You may have gathered (no secret here) that I also love baking, so I popped in the cupcake from the Tasty Trucks Stamp Set from last year’s Sale-a-bration.
The image of posting a card is relevant all year round and is a strong drive for my passion of card making.
This stamp set Christmas in the Making {144845} is retiring. Be sure to order yours before it is too late. As you can see, it is not just for Christmas.
At this point I want to remind you all that this year’s Sale-a-bration commences tomorrow, 3rd January. The selection of free stamps is adorable! Contact me anytime to find out how to get your hands on these, along with the gorgeous products in the new Occasions Catalogue that also launches tomorrow.
