There is something magical about snowglobes. The scene comes alive with a simple shake to send sparkles flying around like snowflakes. I purchased a simple wintery snowglobe a few years back. In fact I had just created a card that looks amazingly similar, prior to discovering this very globe! Today’s project is a paper tree surrounded by glitter inside a snowglobe, also inspired by my precious purchased treasure.
The lovely red bird among the branches is a beautiful symbol of hope and all things beautiful in simplicity. You may or may not recognise the tree I used for today’s project. It was a limited issue Thinlits Die called Beautiful Branches that is no longer available. You could use any of our Stampin’ Up! tree imagery for this project but this one truly represented the look I was after. I just die cut two trees, split each up the centre half way (one from the top, one from the bottom) and slotted them together to create a standing dimensional tree for my globe.
I also want to use this as a reminder to purchase your favourite products when they are available as the time does come for most stamp sets, coordinating dies and select products to retire. I am so glad I followed my heart with this one and purchased it when I could. Did you know there is a current Year’s End Sales Event? So many items are retiring and on sale! Be sure to check out the details on my webpage.
