For Babies & Kids

Welcome to my Sunday Blog. Have you been drooling over the 2017-18 catalogue like I have? The inspiration is immense on each and every page. It is a fabulous resource for finding projects to {Copy And Share Everything}!  Thus CASEing the Catalogue is a great practise and the team at CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop are a fantastic group to follow to understand how to take an project and make it your own. caseing the catty sunday blog hop

This week the team is highlighting section of the Catalogue that focusses on Babies and Kids. The images and cards are so cute but are not limited only to using for babies and children as you will see. CTC140---fb.jpg

And so I bring you my take on the Bundle of Love Suite on page 102 of the Catalogue. Here is the sweet suite featured in the catalogue:

bundle of love suite

Of course this is gorgeous for a welcome baby celebration. This is easy to adapt for a wedding or any gathering of special friends. With much baking, sugar dust, laughter and fun, I present you with my CASE of the Bundle of Love Suite:

I adore {underscore adore!} the Specialty Designer Series Paper {144143} that has stunning designs including Shimmery Gold Foil, Blushing Bride and Soft Sky, so many uses. Great for baby showers, elegant parties, bridal showers, wedding dinners, and more.  My CASE features this stunning paper and the project layouts presented in the catalogue. My stamped images however were from the stamp sets Layering Love {141965} and Blooming’ Love {140643}. I also incorporated the Thinlits Dies Bloomin; Hearts {140621} on a card and the Window Box {142762} for the gift box finished with a metal rimmed pearl {138394}. Ribbons and Trims used included Natural Trim (with silver metallic centre) {141485} Mini Sequin Trim in silver {144230} and 1/8″ Ribbon in Silver {132137}. The Clear Tiny Treat Boxes were a perfect size for adding trim and tags and filling with mini meringues.

Here are the projects up close:

There is something very satisfying about using gold embossing powder and watching it come to life as you heat it. Also the die cut heart is so delicately detailed. I {heart} my Big Shot machine!

The luscious paper and trims ensure that a simple sugar treat present is super-special.

Finally the hexagon gift box. This is so easy and elegant. Packages are one of my favourite things to give and receive! I am just bursting with excitement. Please leave a comment, like and share my post today.

Of course you will then want to jump on over to the next post on the Blog Hop by the very talented Fiona Cobbin.

  1. Awesome work for your guest designer feature. Totally amazing. This is one of my absolute favourites DSPs too. And you’ve done a wonderful job with all your creations. I think my favourite is the clear treat boxes and the live laugh love.
